About AEGEE-Europe / European Students’ Forum

AEGEE-Europe, the European Students? Forum is one of Europe?s biggest interdisciplinary student organisations. It was founded by Parisian students in 1985, and since then, the organisation has played a crucial role in connecting and mobilising young students all around Europe. It assisted the initiation of the Erasmus program in 1987.

AEGEEIts summer university program mobilises thousands of students every year and the scope is rapidly spreading to the borderlines of Europe. AEGEE operates as a non-governmental, politically independent, and non-profit organisation, and is already represented in 40 countries, has 13.000 members and runs more than a hundred events and projects every year, organised by its young volunteers.
